Supported Living.
Supported Living is the provision of support to people living in their own homes within the community to enable them to live as independently as possible and to maintain their tenancies. At Pegasus Care we work hard to promote independence so that support can gradually reduce as the service users become more capable and empowered . Pegasus Care respects and acknowledges that each person is an individual and will assist in the preparation of a Person Centred Plan and monitor the outcomes achieved from the plan.
Pegasus Care can also support our service users to obtain housing. We have an ongoing partnership with a Housing Trust and currently have 5 Supported Living properties in which we provide 24 hour supported living care.
We strive to organise annual holidays within the UK and abroad for individuals who live within our supported living properties. All holidays are arranged so staff members can be in attendance. Individuals are also able to participate in a variety of activities such as, attending day centres, day trips to local attractions such as Dudley Zoo and West Midlands Safari Park, swimming sessions, the gym, meals out, football and other activities individuals wish to participate in.
Pegasus care staff will also attend any medical and personal appointments if support is required.
